Site overhauled in effort to increase sales of software solutions
February 15, 2011 – (Nashville, TN) – Web site strategy consulting firm Websults® completed a site overhaul for Equinox Information Systems, a company providing software solutions to the telecom industry. The custom web design for the new Equinox website was produced by Websults’ partner Corporate Design.

The new site features 170 pages of content that includes:
- Horizontal drop down menu system with main buttons as images and subpages as text links
- Company history, management biographies and descriptions of affiliations
- Description of Equinox’s full complement of products, including customized solutions
- Customer testimonials
- Press releases and upcoming calendar of events
- Full color photography
- Contact forms supported by Wufoo
- Updated corporate logo
The site redesign came about after a group of graduate students from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management reviewed the site as part of a class project.
“We had not paid much attention to our website for several years,” Equinox CEO Byron Middendorf said. “The graduate students politely told us our site was dated and could possibly be selling against us instead of selling for us. Bottom line, we want more sales and we thought the old website might be holding us back.”
Equinox’s decision to revamp its site will reap rewards.
“Many of our customers do not realize that a web site, like any marketing piece, can become stale over time,” Websults Principal Jonathan Weindruch said. “The web is a dynamic medium, so we check in with all of our existing clients periodically to ensure their presence on the web is meeting their business needs.”
