Site features content management system and online reservation forms
November 10, 2014 (Nashville, Tenn.) – Websults®, a web design firm with expertise in government and municipal websites, built a custom designed website for Gallatin Leisure Services, the parks and recreation department of Gallatin, Tenn.

- Responsive web design, so that the website adapts to smaller screens on tablets and mobile devices
Gallatin Leisure Services wanted to build a new site to better serve the citizens of Gallatin.
“We hadn’t updated our site in about ten years,” Gallatin Leisure Services staffer Danielle Eldredge said. “We needed a site for today’s standards that could highlight all that we do and serve as a resource for Gallatin residents.”
When building the site, Websults included the WordPress content management system. Gallatin Leisure Services staff can update the site frequently with WordPress. Also, Gallatin residents can now reserve playing fields and park pavilions online through the new site.
“We have worked with the city of Gallatin in the past,” Websults Principal Jonathan Weindruch said. “Gallatin Leisure Services understood how important web presence is in municipal services.”
Eldredge is pleased with the site’s success since its launch in late summer.
“Everyone is very pleased,” Eldredge said. “The site has improved our processes and serves as a convenience for Gallatin residents.”
